Job summary

Ignitus Recovery is seeking a Peer Recovery Coach to support clients through all stages of treatment in a Boulder-based facility. You will use lived recovery experience to mentor, coach, and guide individuals toward durable wellness and independence.

The role is full-time, W-2, with 8-hour shifts and compensation of $20.00–$26.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. Collaboration with clinical and support staff is essential to provide coordinated, recovery-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Colorado peer recovery certification (COPA/CPFS or similar) or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
• Strong understanding of addiction and recovery processes.
• Experience mentoring or coaching in recovery settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one mentoring and coaching to support recovery goals.
• Facilitate recovery-focused groups and skill-building sessions.
• Support clients through all treatment phases including discharge planning.
• Document services and maintain confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to coordinate care.
• Promote recovery principles and trauma-informed care.
