What You Will Do to Change Lives

The Peer Recovery Coach I engages, inspires, and facilitates meaningful conversations with members to help them explore, create, and meet their recovery goals. They provide consultation to promote Telecare's Recovery Culture, which recognizes and respects each member's preferences, and respond to critical situations with high-level engagement and de-escalation skills to support a least restrictive environment.

Shifts Available:

• Friday Only: 11PM - 7:30AM

Expected starting wage range is $21.00 - $21.58, with geographic differentials applied.

Shift differentials are paid for hourly staff: 6% for PM Shift, 10% for Overnight; Weekend differentials: 5% for Weekend AM, 11% for Weekend PM, 15% for Weekend Overnight.

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)

• High School Diploma or GED
• Peer Certification obtained prior to hire and maintained throughout employment (e.g., Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification in California)
• One (1) year or part-time equivalent supporting members with behavioral health challenges
• Experience as a beneficiary of the public Behavioral Health system of care
• Successful completion of Peer Support or Peer Employment Training
