Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Beverly, MA seeks a non-clinical Peer Recovery Coach as part of the Addiction Consult Service. You will support individuals in the ED and inpatient settings, acting as a recovery guide and role model to help identify barriers, coordinate referrals, and engage with community supports to sustain recovery.

Requirements include 18+, high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred), a driver’s license, and at least two years of sustained recovery.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Be a Peer with lived addiction experience.
• Have at least two years of current, sustained recovery without reoccurrence.
• BSAS Recovery Coach Academy or CCAR training preferred; licensure timelines reviewed as required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as recovery guide and role model in managing recovery.
• Coordinate with peer networks and community social services.
• Educate patients and family members on the recovery process.
• Engage with high ED utilizers to coordinate referrals and treatment plans.
• Document in EPIC and perform required administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and advocate for patients.
