Job summary

Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, part of LifeBridge Health, seeks a Peer Recovery Coach to support patients in recovery from alcohol and drug use. You will work in a team to offer non-clinical peer support, motivate patients, and help develop service plans to link patients to treatment services.

Qualified candidates actively in recovery for at least 3 years, with 1 year of experience preferred, and may receive naxoline training; travel may be required.

Summary:

The Peer Recovery Coach provides non-clinical services intended to aid patients in establishing recovery from high risk of dependent alcohol and drug use problems. Work as part of the team to provide peer support and motivation to encourage patients who are seeking treatment for alcohol or drug dependency and addiction issues. Assist in completing referrals to treatment services and developing service plans to promote successful linkage to treatment services.

Experience:

• The eligible candidate must be actively engaged in his/her own recovery program with a minimum of three years demonstrated personal recovery and sustained abstinence from alcohol and/or drug use.
• This position may receive training on naxoline and travel as necessary.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

Pay Range: $17.12 to $26.00 Based On Experience
