Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a Family Support Partner in Farmville, VA, to provide critical support and advocacy for families navigating behavioral health challenges. This role focuses on using personal experiences to help families engage with services effectively.

The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma, be the primary caregiver of a child with emotional or behavioral difficulties, and is preferably bilingual in Spanish. Compensation ranges from $17.03 to $21.49 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be the biological or adoptive parent or primary caregiver of a child with emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges.
• Experience navigating the Virginia behavioral health systems required.
• Participate in wraparound intervention or family partnership meetings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support to parents/caregivers served in the program.
• Assist families in successful engagement, advocacy, and navigation of services.
• Use personal experiences to help families build resiliency.
