An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Certified Peer Recovery Specialist to join their team in Ashland City, TN. This full-time role involves providing direct support and mentorship to individuals facing substance use and mental health challenges. You will leverage your lived experience to inspire hope and facilitate recovery. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will assist individuals in navigating their recovery journeys, ensuring they have access to essential resources and support. Position Summary: This is a grant-funded, full-time (40 hours per week) in-office position in Ashland City, TN, for a certified peer recovery specialist. Some work on weekends and after normal business hours may be required. The Certified Peer Recovery Specialist/Peer Coach provides direct support and mentorship to individuals in Cheatham County with substance use and/or mental health disorders, utilizing their own lived experience to foster hope, build resilience, and promote recovery. This role involves establishing trusting relationships, providing practical assistance, and advocating for individuals as they navigate their recovery process. The Peer Coach will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, person-centered care.
