Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support and Medical Assistant credentials required/obtained.
• Experience: No specific work experience required; six months related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients in clinic setting and perform clinical tasks such as vitals, EKGs, phlebotomy and medication verification.
• Prepare exam rooms, obtain charts, schedule tests, and assist with examinations and lab tests.
• Administer medications under physician or NP order including vaccines when appropriate.
• Direct patient flow, schedule appointments, and handle care coordination per guidelines.
