Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required; bodies include AHA, Red Cross, NHA, CMA, CCMA, etc.
• No prior work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, perform EKGs, phlebotomy and verify medications.
• Prepare exam rooms, charts and schedule tests.
• Assist with examinations, procedures and lab tests.
• Administer medications under physician or NP orders (vaccines and injections).
• Direct patient flow and route messages; coordinate appointments and follow-ups.
