Job summary

4th floor 7p RN is recruiting a Staff Registered Nurse for the Med-Peds unit, working on-site in Georgia. The role involves monitoring patient conditions, interpreting symptoms, and coordinating with physicians to develop individualized care plans.

Responsibilities include performing routine procedures, administering medications, ensuring hygiene and safety, providing emergency care, and supporting patients and families while pursuing ongoing education and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
• Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians and other providers
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to devise individualized care plans for patients
• Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and document in the electronic record
• Administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders and according to scope of practice
• Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.)
• Provide instant medical care in emergencies
• Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
• Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc.
