Job summary

UW Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the cardiovascular unit in Rockford, IL. This 100% FTE, full-time day-shift role (Mon-Fri, 7:45AM-4:15PM) is based at 1340 Charles St. The RN must be licensed in Illinois, with BLS/CPR within 90 days; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved School of Nursing Program.
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
• 2 years of cardiovascular nursing or related experience (preferred).
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois.
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification within 90 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiovascular nursing care to patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
