Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Pediatric RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Denver, CO. This role involves pediatric patient care, medication administration, and collaboration with families and healthcare teams to ensure high-quality, family-centered care.

Required qualifications include 1 year of pediatric RN experience, valid RN license, BLS, and PALS or ENPC certification. Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Pediatric RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to children and families to foster understanding.
• Administer medications with pediatric dosing considerations.
• Prepare pediatric equipment and assist physicians during exams and treatments.
• Ensure comfort and safety of pediatric patients, considering developmental needs.
• Observe patient conditions and document responses in the medical record.
• Take vital signs and assess patient condition to detect deviations.
• Respond to life-saving situations following policy and protocol.
• Develop and implement patient and family education plans.
• Collaborate with families to tailor and implement care plans for pediatric patients.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance pediatric care.
• Perform other duties within scope of practice and adhere to safety and regulatory standards.
• Maintain compliance with infection control guidelines.
