Job summary

Mercy Clinic Pediatrics is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our pediatric practice at Clinic Tower 1001B on the Mercy Hospital St. Louis campus.

This part-time position (24 hours per week) supports a busy five-provider pediatric office with professional nursing care, care coordination, and collaboration with physicians and staff to ensure excellent care for children and families. The RN will assist with patient assessment, procedures, medication administration, education,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to pediatric patients and coordinate care with physicians and staff.
• Assess patient conditions, obtain histories and vital signs, and prepare patients for examinations.
• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures within scope of practice.
• Communicate test results, educate patients and families, and coordinate follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record and support care coordination.
