Job summary

Mercy Pediatrics is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our pediatric practice at Clinic Tower 1001B, St. Louis, MO.

The position is part-time (24 hours per week) to support a busy five-provider pediatric office with nursing care, care coordination and collaboration with physicians and staff. The ideal candidate will assist with patient assessments, procedures, medication administration and education for children and families while upholding Mercy’s Mission and Service

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Knowledge of nursing principles, patient assessment and clinical procedures.
• Ability to remain calm during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to pediatric patients and coordinate with physicians.
• Assist with examinations, treatments and procedures.
• Administer medications and injections as ordered.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record.
• Educate patients and families about treatments and self-care.
