Qualifications

• Current NY Registered Professional Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates solid understanding of quality and safety indicators and participates in performance improvement.
• Collects, assesses, and documents patient healthcare data.
• Involves patient/family and interdisciplinary team to identify a realistic care plan and outcomes.
• Prioritizes care based on data collected and documents assessments in medical records.
• Implements coordinated patient care with timely interventions and escalation as needed.
• Educates patient/family regarding health status and care plan and assesses learning needs.
