Job summary

CompHealth is assisting a Sacramento-based facility in recruiting a physician for a primarily outpatient role. The position features a 4-day, 10-hour work week with Fridays off and a 100% outpatient setting with no hospital rounding.

You will see approximately 24 patients per day at a well-established FQHC, with light after-hours calls by phone and nurse triage support. Saturday rotations occur about once every 8–9 weeks.

Qualifications

• Outpatient clinic experience preferred.
• Ability to manage a moderate patient load in a well-established clinic.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills required.

Responsibilities

• See approximately 24 patients per day at a well-established FQHC.
• Work in a 100% outpatient setting with no hospital rounding.
• Handle light after-hours calls by phone with nurse triage support.
• Participate in a Saturday rotation approximately 1 every 8–9 weeks.
• Assist with salary/contract negotiation and license coordination services.
