Job Responsibilities:

• Provide outpatient clinical care to pediatric patients Monday through Friday.
• Respond to inpatient calls, averaging 1-2 weekends per month.
• Navigate through variable weekday on-call responsibilities, utilizing the beeper system.
• Participate in scheduled clinical hours and respond effectively within a 20-minute call response time.
• Engage in patient consultations and follow-up as necessary, with an expected average of 0-5 phone consults and 0-2 patients seen per shift.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and support.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Pediatrics.
• Active medical license with hospital privileges (temporary privileges available).
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fellowship not required; however, residency training in pediatrics is essential.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Valid medical license to practice in Wisconsin.
• Current board certification in Pediatrics is required.
• Malpractice insurance provided by vendor.
