Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide primary pediatric care in an outpatient setting
• Conduct sick visits for common childhood illnesses (e.g., ear infections, colds, cough, flu)
• Administer and manage immunization schedules
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Make appropriate referrals to specialists when necessary
• Perform well-child check-ups and developmental screenings
• Educate patients and families on preventive care and healthy lifestyles
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Epic EMR system
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Stay updated on current pediatric guidelines and best practices
• Provide guidance on nutrition, safety, and child development
• Manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions
Additional Information:
• Must be licensed to practice medicine in Michigan
• Board certification in Pediatrics required
