Job description

Pediatrician needed in Herkimer, New York

• Located in the Foothills of the Adirondack and Catskill Mountains
• 65 miles from Syracuse; 80 miles from Albany, NY

Position Details:

Full-time, permanent outpatient pediatrics position at the clinic in Herkimer, NY. Office hours are 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday through Friday. A four 10-hour day work week option is available. After-hours call is 1:6 weeknights/weekends for backup coverage of advanced practice clinicians (APCs) in the hospital. The pediatric inpatient service and Birthing Center are staffed by APCs 24/7/365, along with a daytime hospitalist. The on-call pediatrician provides support in Cooperstown on evenings and weekends.
