Job Description

A Livingston-based client is seeking an experienced Pediatrician to provide excellent urgent care services to patients from age 0 to 19 years old. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who values evidence-based practice and patient-centered care. The candidate should be comfortable treating children and discussing outcomes with children and families.

Required Qualifications
  • Graduated from an accredited medical school with an MD or DO degree
  • Current NJ medical license
  • Completed an accredited residency program
  • Current DEA certificate
  • Board certified or board eligible in pediatrics
  • Current CPR certification
  • 3+ years of experience (preferred)
Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in children in an urgent care setting
  • Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results, and create treatment plans based on results
  • Perform therapeutic procedures and educate patients and families on treatment plans
  • Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload
  • Supervise NPs and PAs within state regulations
  • Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to policy
