The Bleeding & Clotting Disorders Institute (BCDI) seeks a Pediatric Hematologist (Ped Hem) to join their established and industry-leading team in Peoria, Illinois (IL). We are seeking a like-minded individual focused on providing integrated, patient-centered, family-oriented, and compassionate care.
Position Details
- Specialization: Pediatric Hematology (Ped Hem) with an option to focus on hemostasis and thrombosis
- Clinic Schedule: 1-2 days per week, seeing less than 10 patients per day
- Research: Dedicated time supported by our experienced research team, with ample opportunities to publish
- Patient Demographics: Variety of cases
- Mentorship: Mentoring options available from Dr. Michael Tarantino (NBDF's 2024 Lifetime of Achievement recipient) and Dr. Jonathan Roberts, among others, including six advanced practice providers assisting with inpatient duties
- Academic Appointment: Faculty appointment offered
- Candidate Eligibility: Practicing physicians and upcoming 2026 and 2027 fellows are encouraged to apply
- Compensation: Base salary range of $200K-$325K, sign-on bonus of $50,000, annual student loan repayment, and comprehensive platinum-level benefits covering you and your family, including a 5% retirement match
