Job description

We are currently looking for a BC Pediatrician to join our outpatient pediatric practice in Washington, D.C. We are opening a second office on the campus of Walter Reed (The Parks at Walter Reed), a new community with mixed-use commercial and residential properties. Our original office is near Washington Hospital Center.

1. Outstanding opportunity to become part of our growing practice, working alongside a highly regarded pediatrician and a tenured support staff.
2. Our practice offers the full scope of primary care services to pediatric patients from birth to 21, including many newborns and younger children.
3. Full-time and part-time schedules are available, offering flexibility. No evenings or weekends are required, and there is no inpatient or newborn rounding.
4. We have a close-knit, group-oriented, and friendly environment that values teamwork.
5. Patient volume: 15-20 patients per day, focusing on quality care and building relationships with families.
6. Bread and butter primary care pediatrics with light procedures such as foreign body removal, suturing, and I&Ds.
7. Schedule: Full-time, with flexibility for 4-5 days/week.
   • Hours (Clinical/Admin): Mon-Fri, currently 7:00 am - 5:00 pm.
   • First patient at 7 am, last patient at 4:45 pm.

Qualifications:

• BE/BC in Pediatrics
• Passion for building relationships with patients, excellent bedside manner, and clinical skills
• Compliance with HIPAA regulations
• State licensure; board certification required within the first year
