Job summary

LBU Community Clinic in Dallas seeks a Pediatrics Physician to care for infants, children, and adolescents. You will diagnose illnesses, manage ongoing conditions, and support families through development stages, while coordinating referrals and maintaining precise EHR documentation.

You will collaborate with allied health professionals, contribute to quality improvement, and participate in ongoing education and team meetings.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
• Unrestricted Texas Medical License (REQUIRED).
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Care for infants, children, and adolescents by diagnosing illnesses and managing ongoing conditions.
• Support families through every stage of development and provide follow-up care.
• Coordinate referrals and ensure accurate documentation in the EHR.
• Collaborate with allied health professionals and participate in quality-improvement efforts.
• Engage in continuing education and team meetings to stay updated.
• Document care thoroughly and maintain patient records for continuity of care.
• Commit to a 40-hour full-time work week and travel between Dallas clinic locations when needed.

You will also work closely with allied health professionals, contribute to quality-improvement efforts, and stay engaged in continuing education and team meetings. Your work will directly shape the health and well-being of the children and families who rely on our clinic every day.
