A mission-centered Latinx nonprofit seeks a Spanish-speaking Pediatrician in Chicago, IL! Located in the Little Village area, just 6 miles from downtown Chicago.

Responsibilities:

• Manage ambulatory pediatric primary care by eliciting patient histories, performing physical exams, providing accurate diagnoses, prescribing evidence-based treatments, and patient education
• Meet productivity standards, averaging at least 2.7 patient visits per hour of ambulatory time
• Promote patient satisfaction by considering environmental, social, and cultural factors affecting health
• Participate in quality improvement activities, including chart documentation, peer reviews, and special projects
• Practice evidence-based, cost-effective primary care in a team-based setting
• Make appropriate diagnoses, prescriptions, and referrals per medical guidelines
• Develop and implement age-specific preventative health schedules for pediatric patients
• Build and maintain a pediatric practice with follow-ups and referrals to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain clinical competency through regular CME and document participation
• Participate in newborn nursery coverage at partner hospitals as assigned
• Respond to call duties as assigned
• Contribute to staff education and training as needed
