We are seeking a faculty member to fill a full-time position in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Cardiology. This position includes a faculty appointment within the Department of Pediatrics, a competitive salary, and a full benefits package.

Job/Practice Description:
Pediatric Cardiologist
- Clinical duties include patient care responsibilities and outpatient clinic work. Faculty responsibilities include direct clinical supervision of medical students, residents, fellows, and other students in related fields (e.g., nursing, dietary, pharmacy students), observing the physician in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Outpatient clinical care for children with all types of heart and vascular disorders.
- Inpatient care, consultation, and emergency room consultation for children with all types of heart and vascular disorders.
- Performing general pediatric cardiovascular procedures such as echocardiography and cardiac catheterization with related therapeutic procedures.
Professional Background:
- Board certified or eligible
- Must be licensed in Texas or eligible for licensure
- Board certification in General Pediatrics with subspecialty certification in Pediatric Cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics (or eligible).
