Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a Physical Therapist I - Pediatrics to evaluate and treat pediatric patients at our Lutherville, MD location. You will lead evidence-based plans with supervision from clinical leadership and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.

The role requires MD licensure as a physical therapist in Maryland, CPR certification, and completion of pediatric clinical internships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensure by the State of Maryland Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
• Current AHA Health Care Provider CPR certification.
• Successful completion of required clinical internships during academic training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct objective evaluations to assess patients' physical and medical conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment programs to optimize patient function.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve patient-centered goals and outcomes.
• Actively participate in service, department, and hospital improvement projects to enhance patient care.
• Uphold and operationalize the goals and objectives of the Hospital within the care setting.
