UF Health Gainesville is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to support physician-led patient care in an ambulatory setting. You will work under direct supervision, perform clinical tasks within Florida statutes, and may handle basic clerical and medical records duties.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited MA program and hold CMA/RMA or equivalent, with CPR/BLS certification and at least one year of direct patient care preferred. Flexibility to float across UFHP practices.

Formación

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required or obtained within first 90 days.
• One year of direct patient care experience in ambulatory setting preferred.
• Ability to multitask and work as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient care under the direct supervision of a licensed physician.
• Perform clerical, insurance, and medical records tasks as needed.
• May float to other UFHP practices to support staffing.
