Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a Medical Assistant for our General Pediatrics department. The position is full-time at 36 hours per week, with a day shift in the MOB location. The starting pay range is $18.75 to $22.25 per hour and may vary based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities include patient care, clinical support, and coordination with the care team under supervision of a nurse or physician. Excellent teamwork and patient-centered care are essential to success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a Medical Assisting program OR completion of a formal medical services training program OR 1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and assist with procedures and exams per department policies.
• Assist care providers with procedures and exams and prepare patients for examination and treatment.
• Provide flexible, culturally competent and responsive care to patients and families.

Education

1 year of related work experience
