Job summary

MaineHealth's Waldo Hospital in Belfast, ME is seeking a Medical Assistant I to support patient care and administrative tasks in a team-based setting, helping keep the clinic running smoothly. The MA I will assist physicians and advanced practice clinicians with clinical tasks, maintain patient flow, and ensure accurate documentation and coordination of care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Medical assisting program with 160 hours of clinical experience.
• 6 months of clinical experience in a practice setting.
• 1 year of clinical experience in a multi-provider practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and administrative support in a team-based office.
• Assist physicians/APPs under their license during clinical tasks.
• Help ensure smooth patient flow through the office.
