The Department of Pediatrics in the School of Medicine, University of California, Irvine, anticipated openings for physicians in it's various divisions. These openings will be at the level of Assistant Professor or above depending upon the candidate's qualifications and will be in the Health Sciences Clinical Series (non-tenure track).
Criteria for the Professor in the HS Series:
Health Sciences Clinical Professor series faculty engage in scholarly or creative activities which derive from and support their primary responsibilities in clinical teaching and professional and service activities.

Requirements include: M.D. or Ph.D. and/or equivalent license appropriate to the position(s). Board Certification or Eligibility within specialty is also required. Interest in teaching is essential. The applicant must have demonstrated capabilities for teaching.
