Job Overview

The Bristol Hospital Pediatric Hospitalist Program offers an exciting opportunity for a pediatric nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join their team. Under the supervision of pediatric hospitalist attending physicians, responsibilities include attending deliveries, performing assessments and physicals, and providing ongoing clinical monitoring and treatment for all newborns in our modern all LDRP-maternity unit and Level I nursery.

Collaborations and Affiliations

We collaborate closely with community pediatricians and obstetricians. Our practice benefits from an affiliation with Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and a strong relationship with UCONN Health Center’s Neonatal Outreach Program.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or Physician Assistant program
  • Experience with newborns, preferably in a Level II or Level III nursery
