Advance your career in a dynamic team at the forefront of innovative approaches to treating children with cancer. Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, a 670-bed institution, seeks a full-time Inpatient Staff Physician for our specialized inpatient oncology unit.
The inpatient staff physician collaborates closely with attending oncologists to manage complex, acutely ill cancer patients within a multidisciplinary team that includes dieticians, pharmacists, social workers, care managers, child life specialists, PT/OT, and nursing staff. This role offers challenging clinical experiences and opportunities in quality improvement, clinical guideline development, resident and medical student education, and clinical research.
The schedule includes day and night shifts, along with weekend and holiday rotations. Applicants should be board-eligible or certified in pediatrics or medicine/pediatrics. Hematology/oncology training or oncology background is not required, as training is provided. An Ohio Medical License is necessary.
