Job summary

Great Expressions Dental Centers is seeking a proactive Dental Assistant to join our busy practice and positively impact patients’ oral health.

You will assist our dental team, prepare rooms, sterilize instruments, educate patients, and support dentists during procedures in a fast-paced setting. Experience is valued, but training is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Previous dental assisting experience or relevant education is preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor.

• Proficiency in dental software and technology is a plus.

Requirements

• Connecticut: certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
• Florida: Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to expose X-rays).
• Georgia: CPR Certification, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification, and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
• Massachusetts: CPR Certification, proof of formal training to expose X-rays, BORID certification and annual CE requirements must be completed per state regulations.
• Michigan: Upon hiring, you are required to furnish evidence of X-ray training certification. If you do not possess certification at the time of hiring, you are granted an 8-week period to submit it.
• New Jersey: Proof of X-ray training.
• New York: Not applicable.
• Ohio: Proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to Expose X-rays)
• Texas: CPR Certification, TSBDE: TX State Board of Dental Examiners.
