Job summary

The role requires completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program, BLS certification, and strong teamwork and communication skills to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Medical Assisting Program.
• Must maintain current Registration or Certification (CMA/RMA).
• Proficient computer literacy and electronic medical record use.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with patients in a courteous, professional manner across in-person, phone, and web encounters.
• Supports providers and staff in the delivery of team-based medical care.
• Performs clinical duties including patient screenings and assisting in tests/procedures.
• Documents clinical activities and patient interactions in the EMR and ensures supplies are stocked.
• Participates in safety, infection control, and quality improvement activities.
