Job summary

International SOS Government Medical Services seeks a Pediatrician to deliver preventive, acute, and ongoing care for newborns to young adults at clinics in the Chesapeake area, including Virginia Beach and Suffolk.

You'll handle routine exams, immunizations, and management of acute and chronic conditions, while guiding residents and junior staff in clinical care. Competitive pay reflects experience and includes weekend/holiday incentives and CEU reimbursement.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completed ACGME-accredited residency and graduation from a US/Canadian medical school or LCME/AOA‑approved institution.
• Board certification in Pediatrics or residency completed with board exam scheduling if recent graduate.
• Current, unrestricted medical license to practice pediatrics in the US.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat pediatric patients across routine, acute, and chronic care needs.
• Provide screenings, examinations, immunizations, and family counseling.
• Oversee diagnostic procedures and teach pediatric residents and staff.
• Respond to emergencies per established protocols and document care timely.
• Participate in peer review, improvement initiatives, and clinical education.
