Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of children epidemiology and infectious diseases.
• Knowledge of diagnostic, treatment, and rehabilitation principles.
• Up-to-date knowledge of pediatric medicines and side-effects.
• Experience with traditional and web-based prescription systems.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Ability to diagnose and solve problems.
• Excellent written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop an informed diagnosis based on the child’s medical history.
• Performs thorough examinations on newborns and children to monitor and record health and development.
• Diagnose a child’s medical condition by exam and history.
• Assess and treat injuries and refer to specialists if needed.
• Inform parents on diet, exercise, and disease prevention.
• Prescribe and provide clear medication instructions.
• Maintain confidential records of illnesses, surgeries, and events.
• Participate in professional development to stay current in pediatrics.
