Job summary

You will perform examinations, diagnose conditions, educate families on health and disease prevention, and maintain confidential patient records in a collaborative clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of pediatric epidemiology and infectious diseases.
• Skilled in applying diagnostic, treatment, and rehabilitation principles for children.
• Up-to-date knowledge of drugs/medications for children and associated side-effects.
• Experienced with traditional and web-based prescription systems.
• Demonstrates active listening skills.
• Ability to diagnose and solve problems in clinical settings.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop an informed diagnosis based on medical history and clinical assessment.
• Perform thorough examinations on newborns and children to monitor health and development.
• Diagnose conditions, ask questions to uncover symptoms, and discuss findings with families.
• Assess and treat injuries, refer to specialists when needed.
• Inform parents about diet, exercise, and disease prevention for children.
• Recommend and interpret lab tests to identify infections or defects.
• Dispense vaccines in line with governmental guidelines.
• Prescribe medications with clear usage instructions.
• Maintain confidential medical records of illnesses, surgeries, and events.
• Engage in professional development to stay current in pediatric medicine.
• Perform related duties as required.
