Job summary

Tribal Health in Reno, NV is seeking a Pediatrician for an outpatient clinic. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00 when not closed for holidays. The role focuses on compassionate, culturally responsive care for children from newborns to adolescents.

Licensure in Nevada and Board Certification or Eligibility in Pediatrics are required. Credentialing takes about three weeks, with a team on site including Pharmacy, Radiology, Dental and Behavioral Health.

Qualifications

• Nevada State License is required.
• Board Certification in Pediatrics or eligibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients from newborn to adolescent, including well‑child visits and immunizations.
• Manage common pediatric conditions and acute illnesses.
• Collaborate with on-site Pharmacy, Radiology, Dental, Behavioral Health and Primary Care teams.

Patient Mix by Age: Pediatrics

Patient Volume: 8-10

Types of Cases:Newborn through adolescent care, well-child visits, routine physicals, immunizations, acute/sick visits, respiratory infections, ear infections, asthma, allergies, minor injuries, rashes/skin conditions, GI complaints, developmental and growth concerns, obesity/weight management, ADHD, behavioral/mental health concerns, and management of common chronic pediatric conditions.
