Nemours Children’s Health in Philadelphia is seeking a compassionate pediatrician to join our primary care team on the Thomas Jefferson University Health campus. You will build lasting relationships with children and families while delivering high-quality, evidence-based care within a nationally recognized pediatric health system.

This teaching-focused practice serves a diverse patient population, with exposure to newborn care and collaboration across a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited pediatric residency program.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatrics.
• Eligibility for an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and relationship-building skills.
• A commitment to family-centered care, clinical excellence, and service to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care, including well-child visits, preventive screenings, immunizations, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
• Partner with patients and families to promote healthy development and lifelong wellness.
• Coordinate care with pediatric specialists, hospital-based teams, and community resources.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and support staff to deliver a seamless patient experience.
• Provide clinical coverage for the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital newborn nursery and participate in the practice’s teaching environment.
• Contribute to quality improvement, patient safety, and population health initiatives.
