Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters (CHKD) invites applications for a full-time pediatrician to join our CMG network. With 120+ CHKD pediatricians and 27 locations, we deliver comprehensive outpatient care and subspecialty collaboration in southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina.

We emphasize work-life balance, patient-centered care, and opportunities for teaching and research with local medical schools. Flexible scheduling and a nurse triage system support our team.

Qualifications

• Board-eligible or board-certified in pediatrics (if board-eligible, certification must be obtained within 2 years of residency completion)
• Must possess a valid Virginia medical license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care
• Excellent rapport with children and families

Responsabilités

• Provide high-quality, compassionate pediatric care in an outpatient clinic setting
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions in children
• Build strong connections with patients and families, fostering a supportive environment
• Participate in rotating on-call duties as needed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including subspecialists, nursing staff, and on-call triage
• Ensure patient care is aligned with best practices and medical guidelines
• Engage in continuing medical education and professional development
