Job summary

CareerNerds, LLC is seeking a board-certified or eligible Pediatrician (MD/DO) to join its community health team in Hawthorne, California. This outpatient, on-site role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, no after-hours call, and a supportive interdisciplinary team.

You will provide well-child visits, immunizations, and acute care, while communicating fluently with Spanish-speaking families. Competitive base salary plus benefits and retirement options are provided based on experience.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited US medical school or international equivalent
• Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics
• Active, unrestricted California medical license (or eligible for immediate licensure)
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English required

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric primary care including well-child visits, immunizations, and acute illness management
• Deliver culturally competent care and communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking patients and families
• No after-hours, weekend, or holiday call; work during standard clinic hours
• Collaborate with medical staff and care coordinators to streamline clinic workflows
• Document patient care accurately using electronic health records (EHR)
• Educate parents on child development, nutrition, and preventive health

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (No After-Hours Call)

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with dedicated medical assistants, care coordinators, and staff to streamline clinic workflows

• Educate parents and guardians on child development, nutrition, and preventative health strategies

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited US medical school or international equivalent (MD or DO).
• Board Credentials: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
• Language Skills: Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required.
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted California medical license (or eligible for immediate state licensure).
