Job summary

Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a Pediatrician (MD/DO) for a full-time, on-site role in California. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no after-hours calls and a competitive base salary plus benefits.

The ideal candidate is bilingual in Spanish and English and will provide comprehensive pediatric care in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities include well-child visits, immunizations, acute illness care, and coordination with a team of clinicians.

Qualifications

• Graduate of US medical school or international equivalent (MD/DO).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
• Active, unrestricted California medical license (or eligible).
• Fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric primary care including well-child visits and immunizations.
• Deliver culturally competent care and communicate with Spanish-speaking patients and families.
• No after-hours, weekend, or holiday call duties; operate during standard clinic hours.
• Collaborate with medical staff to streamline clinic workflows.
• Document care clearly using EHRs.
• Educate families on child development, nutrition, and preventive health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with dedicated medical assistants, care coordinators, and staff to streamline clinic workflows
• Utilize electronic health records (EHR) for accurate, timely clinical documentation
• Educate parents and guardians on child development, nutrition, and preventative health strategies

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited US medical school or international equivalent (MD or DO).
• Board Credentials: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
• Language Skills: Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required.
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted California medical license (or eligible for immediate state licensure).
