Job summary

Pediatric Associates in Pembroke Pines, FL, is seeking a Full-time Outpatient Pediatrician to join our team. The position offers a 4-day workweek with rotated Saturdays, newborn rounding, and no on-call burden, using the eClinical Works EMR.

We support physicians with comprehensive benefits from day one. Candidates must hold an MD or DO, complete Pediatric residency, and have an unrestricted Florida license and DEA.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required.
• ACGME or AOA pediatric residency completed or in progress.
• Current, unrestricted Florida medical license.
• Current, unrestricted Florida DEA license.
• Board eligibility or board certification in pediatrics within five years.
• Meets all requirements for staff membership and privileges.
• BLS certification required; PALS as hospital appointment requires.

Responsibilities

• Full-time outpatient pediatrician in Pembroke Pines, FL.
• 4 days per week with rotated Saturdays.
• Rotated newborn rounding.

Education, Licensure & Certification:

• M.D. or D.O. degree required
• Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics
• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training
• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment
