Job summary

The Greater Lawrence Family Health Center (GLFHC) invites a Pediatrician to provide comprehensive and continuing care for children across our multi-site system, including hospitals, schools and shelters in Massachusetts.

The position emphasizes clinical excellence, direct patient care, teamwork, quality improvement and education. On-call backup coverage and travel between sites may be required; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred to serve our diverse patient population.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in a pediatric specialty with a current medical license in Massachusetts.
• Residency completion in good standing.
• Excellent communication and clinical skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and provides direct medical care to patients.
• Refer patients to other providers as appropriate.
• Participates in patient care audits for quality assurance and utilization review.
• Maintains appropriate medical records on assigned patients.
• On-call duties and backup coverage as assigned.
• Travel between sites may be required.
• Represent GLFHC with external authorities and the community.
• Pursues continued education opportunities for professional growth.
