Job summary

CarolinaEast Medical Center in North Carolina seeks a Pediatrician for 100% outpatient care. You will diagnose, treat, and manage diseases affecting children's general well-being, performing examinations, ordering tests, and prescribing medications as appropriate.

Responsibilities include coordinating care with specialists, making referrals when needed, and maintaining a Monday–Friday schedule with one weekend per seven, from 9 AM to 1 PM, with a compensatory day.

Qualifications

• Active Physician's License from the State of North Carolina.
• DEA certification is required.
• Must be in good standing of the Medical Staff of CarolinaEast Health System.

• Perform examinations, order and interpret diagnostic and screening tests, prescribe medications as appropriate for patients' medical conditions, and refer patients for further care as clinically appropriate.
• 100% outpatient position. Monday through Friday with 1/7 weekends from 9AM - 1PM with a comp day.
