Job summary

CarolinaEast Health System, a 350-bed medical center, seeks a Cardiologist to diagnose and treat heart diseases, using a range of medical instruments and diagnostic imaging. The physician will prescribe medications and guide dietary/activity plans, with advanced imaging as a plus.

North Carolina medical license, DEA certification, and active Medical Staff membership are required for this full-time position at our Coastal Carolina facility.

Qualifications

• Possession and maintenance of a Physician's License from the State of North Carolina.
• Certifications from the DEA.
• Must be a member in good standing of the Medical Staff of the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat diseases of the heart and its functions.
• Examine patient for symptoms indicative of heart disorders using medical instruments and equipment.
• Study diagnostic images and electrocardiograph recordings to aid diagnosis.
• Prescribe medications and recommend dietary and activity programs.
• Advance Imaging is a plus.

Job Summary:

The Cardiologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating diseases of the heart and its functions by: examining patient for symptoms indicative of heart disorders using medical instruments and equipment; as well as studying diagnostic images and electrocardiograph recordings to aid in making diagnoses, prescribing medications and recommending dietary and activity programs, as indicated. Advance Imaging is a plus.

Minimum Requirements:
