Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
• Active New York State medical license (or ability to obtain).
• Fluency in Spanish and English (required).
• Strong commitment to serving underserved and diverse populations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based, community health setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to pediatric patients from infancy through adolescence.
• Conduct well-child visits, physical exams, and developmental screenings.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in children.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families in both English and Spanish.
• Educate families on preventative care, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team including nurses, social workers, and specialists.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with clinical standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and community outreach programs.
