Position Overview

Zarminali Pediatrics is seeking compassionate and dedicated pediatricians to join our inaugural team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. You will play a vital role in promoting the overall health of the pediatric population and fostering a supportive environment for our patients, families, and our community that will help shape healthy futures.

What You'll Do
  • Patient Care: Delivering exceptional care by diagnosing, treating, and creating personalized care plans tailored to each child's needs, while being responsive to acute concerns.
  • Growth, Development & Preventative Health: Monitoring children's physical and emotional milestones, offering early intervention and educating families on preventive care for healthy growth and development.
  • Patient & Family Education: Supporting families throughout the full spectrum of the pediatric lifecycle, providing guidance and compassionate care from infancy through adolescence, fostering healthy development, and empowering families with the knowledge they need at each stage.
  • Documentation: Maintaining accurate and up to date patient records, adhering to best practice in documentation and healthcare regulations.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with support team members, Advanced Practice Clinicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for patients.
What We Look For
  • Communicator: Manages communication with and across patients, families, and caregivers, fosters team collaboration and addresses communication gaps to ensure effective care management.
  • Advocate: Supports patients and families and meets them where they are while leveraging resources to ensure coordinated and seamless care.
  • Collaborative: Fosters team collaboration to maximize patient care, mentorship, and professional growth.
  • Tech-Forward: Embraces technology to streamline workflows, reduce administrative burden, and improve patient care and communication.
  • Growth-Orientated: Fosters growth and learning for patients, families, and colleagues through innovation, adaptability, and skill development.
  • Family First: Respects families’ decisions, provides evidence-based care, and aims to keep patients in mainstream settings.
Requirements
  • M.D. or D.O. degree required from an accredited institution.
  • Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in Pennsylvania.
  • Current and unrestricted Pennsylvania DEA license.
  • Must be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Pediatrics.
  • At least 2 to 3 years of post-residency experience working in a pediatric setting.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, non-hierarchical, team-based environment.
  • Empathy towards patients, families and caregivers.
  • BLS/ACLS Certification.
What We Offer
  • Enjoy a balanced work/life schedule with four in-clinic days and one dedicated administrative day each week, allowing time for charting, managing inbox tasks, continuing education and more.
  • Be a part of a team-based environment focused on providing high quality pediatric care within a mission-driven organization.
  • Access to continuous learning, skill development, and career advancement within a supportive and dynamic culture.
  • Competitive compensation package with performance incentives.
  • Work in a newly designed and advanced clinic that emphasizes patient comfort and top‑notch care in a welcoming and calming environment.

At Zarminali Pediatrics, we are committed to empowering clinicians and team members to deliver better pediatric care. This commitment requires building an inclusive culture and a team that represents the diverse communities we serve.

We believe that when people from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives come together, we create a stronger team and better care for our patients and their families. We realize the importance of an environment where clinicians and team members feel cared for, supported, and valued. We believe in the basics: treating everyone with kindness, respect, and fairness.
