Job summary

Connecticut Institute for Communities Inc (CIFC Health) seeks a Pediatrician to join our community health team. This role offers primary care for infants, children, and adolescents in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. MD/DO with pediatric board status and CT licensure are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care for infants, children, and adolescents.
• Conduct well-child, sick, and follow-up visits.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.
• Monitor medications and coordinate referrals to specialists.
• Educate families on preventative care and healthy living.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

CIFC Health a program of Connecticut Institute For Commmunities, Inc. (CIFC) is seeking to hire a full or part-time highly motivated and compassionate Pediatrician to join our team. As a community health Pediatrician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary care services to infants, children, and adolescents in our community. You will work with a team of healthcare professionals in a fast-past environment to provide the best care possible to our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to infants, children, and adolescents
• Conduct well-child visits, sick visits, and follow-up visits
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic conditions
• Monitor and manage patient medications and referrals to specialists
• Educate patients and their families on preventative care and healthy lifestyle choices
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal care to patients
• Mentor midlevel clinical providers to support all aspects of care

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Pediatrics, or board eligible
• Active medical license in the state of Connecticut
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records strongly preferred
• Bilingual candidates preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals
