Job summary

The HealthCare Connection, Inc. (THCC) in Cincinnati, OH, seeks a Board-Certified Pediatrician to provide high-quality primary care to children and families within our network of clinics and school-based centers.

You will deliver preventive and acute care, immunizations, care planning, and coordinated services within a team of physicians, nurses, and behavioral health professionals. THCC is an FQHC with Level 3 PCMH recognition and a commitment to accessible, culturally competent care.

Qualifications

• Board-certified pediatrician with completion of a 3-year pediatric residency.
• Demonstrated clinical skills and teamwork ability.
• Commitment to confidentiality and serving diverse populations.
• Ambulatory care experience in a clinic setting preferred (1–3 years).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary and preventive pediatric care.
• Take patient histories, perform examinations, and diagnose.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed.
• Administer immunizations and provide anticipatory guidance.
• Maintain confidential medical records and collaborate with the care team.

About the Role

The HealthCare Connection is seeking a Board-Certified Pediatrician to join our team and provide high-quality, accessible primary care to children and families in the communities we serve. The Pediatrician provides direct medical care to pediatric patients in a primary healthcare setting. Responsibilities include patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and implementation, evaluation, and ongoing monitoring of each patient's overall care plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary and preventive pediatric care.
• Perform patient histories, physical examinations, assessments, and diagnoses.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Evaluate patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Monitor the overall management of assigned patients.
• Provide health education, preventive care, immunizations, and anticipatory guidance.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, behavioral health professionals, and other members of the care team.
• Provide culturally sensitive care to patients and families from diverse educational, socioeconomic, and ethnic backgrounds.
• Participate in shared pediatric call coverage.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Pediatrics.
• Completion of three years of pediatric residency training.
• Demonstrated clinical skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team across the organization.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with individuals from diverse educational, socioeconomic, and ethnic backgrounds.

Preferred

• One to three years of experience in an ambulatory care setting, community health center, FQHC, or similar practice environment.
