Phoenix Children's Hospital, Inc. is seeking qualified Wound Ostomy nurses for a full-time position in Arizona. The role requires certification in a national wound-ostomy credential within one year and involves working closely with patients, families, and providers to deliver care.

Applicants must have at least three years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics, and one year of skin/wound/ostomy experience is preferred. Competitive hours include both day and evening shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
• At least 2 years of pediatric clinical experience (preferred).
• At least 1 year of skin/wound/ostomy experience (preferred).
• Experience with pressure injury prevention and ostomies (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Conduct nursing assessments of patients’ skin health, wound, or ostomy condition.
• Formulate a family-centered nursing plan of care for skin, wound, and ostomy care.
• Implement nursing care plans and provide expert hands-on nursing care.
• Monitor patients for treatment effectiveness and assess changes.
• Participate in skin health and pressure injury prevention initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an ACEN and/or CCNE accredited school
